In celebration of International Women’s Day this month (8 March), I am delighted to host a wellbeing webinar on the topic of mindfulness for Schlumberger's Connect Women network. In a world where many of us are living increasingly disconnected, frenetic and fast-paced lives, mindfulness is more important than ever. Mindfulness is how live our lives more in the present moment, therefore enabling us to let go of the past and stress less about the future. It helps us to become more aware of our present thoughts, feeling, beliefs and attitudes, and how all of these influence our actions (or reactions) and choices. In this webinar, you will discover: • What mindfulness is and is not • The difference between mindfulness and meditation • The eight steps to mindfulness • Five easy ways to incorporate mindfulness into your day • Mindfulness for stress reduction and productivity • Tips for mindful living We will conclude with a mini guided mindfulness exercise where you will have a moment to pause, reconnect with your true self and the present moment.
